Heron Luxury Charters Charter Guidelines1.The charter operates under the authority of the captain. The captain has the authority to terminate the charter in the event of unacceptable conduct by the charter party.2. No illegal substances or firearms are permitted onboard. Discovery of the presence and use of illicit substances and firearms will terminate the charter without refund, and the yacht will return to its homeport.3. When you reserve a charter date, it is your charter date if the captain determines it is sailable. All charters are private. Your group will be the only party on the yacht.4. A cancellation called by the captain due to weather or mechanical problems will create either a deposit credited toward another charter date, or you may request a refund.5. The charter includes properly using our adequately outfitted yacht and the captain. 6. The captain and crew shall not be held liable for any injury or fatality caused by either direct or indirect action of any member of the charter party.6. The balance of your charter price over and above your deposit is due and payable, at the latest, on the dock before leaving on your trip.7. No trash, garbage, or other materials are thrown overboard into the water.8. The captain and Crew are not babysitters.9. The captain may call you before your trip to discuss the weather, sea conditions, etc. 10. Smoking is NOT permitted on the yacht.11. Cancellations must be made in writing before 72 hours for a full refund. You lose the deposit if you cancel within 72 hours from sail time. For cancelations on the day of the charter, you are responsible for paying in full.13. The charterer agrees to be fully accountable for all furnished equipment aboard the yacht. The Charterer agrees to pay Heron Luxury Charters the amount necessary to replace damaged or lost equipment.14. Please plan to be at Heron 10 minutes before the agreed start time.15. Charterers and guests agree to conduct themselves appropriately on marina property by respecting the privacy of other boats at the dock and maintaining safe and appropriate behavior on the dock and the yacht.
